Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy supplements Merivo’s general Privacy Policy. It applies to “consumer health data” as defined by applicable state law, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act. Merivo is operated by Kwon & Sharifian LLC (“Merivo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Consumer health data may include information that identifies or is reasonably capable of being associated or linked with a consumer and that identifies the consumer’s past, present, or future physical or mental health status. Depending on our actual practices, this may include supplement purchases, wellness interests, quiz responses, communications, or inferences concerning health.
Consumer health data we collect
We may collect the following categories only as applicable to the features you use:
- Products purchased, refunded, viewed, or added to a cart when that information reveals or supports an inference about health or wellness.
- Information you voluntarily provide in customer-support communications, reviews, surveys, or quizzes.
- Wellness goals, preferences, or other health-related information you choose to provide.
- Device, usage, or location information when used to infer health interests.
- Inferences derived from the information above.

We may obtain consumer health data:
- Directly from you.
- From your interactions with our website and account.
- From Shopify and service providers acting for us.
- From partners or third parties only as disclosed and permitted by law.
Why we collect and use it
We collect and use consumer health data when reasonably necessary to provide a product or service you requested, such as processing an order, maintaining your account, providing support, preventing fraud, and complying with law.
For any additional purpose requiring consent, such as a voluntary wellness quiz, personalized health recommendation, or health-data-based advertising, we will request consent as required by applicable law and explain the purpose before collection or use.
Consumer health data we share
We may share consumer health data as necessary with processors that support requested services, such as:
- Shopify and hosting/ecommerce providers.
- Payment processors.
- Fulfillment, shipping, and customer-support providers.
- Security, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance providers.
We may also share data when you direct us to do so, to complete a transaction you requested, or as required or permitted by law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
- Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data.
- Access the consumer health data we maintain.
- Receive a list of affiliates or third parties with whom it was shared or sold.
- Withdraw consent for collection or sharing.
- Delete consumer health data, including deletion from relevant processors as required.
- Appeal a refusal to act on a request.
Submit a request through https://www.livemerivo.com/pages/your-privacy-choices#privacy-request or email merivoofficial@livemerivo.com with the subject “Consumer Health Data Request.” We may take reasonable steps to authenticate your request. If we deny a request, appeal by emailing the same address with the subject “Consumer Health Data Appeal.”
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. We retain consumer health data only as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention procedures.
Changes
We will post changes to this policy, update the effective date, and provide additional notice or consent where required.
